Through state-of-the-art equipment and our highly trained team, we provide exceptional dentistry options for you and your whole family. We accept almost all insurance plans and also offer a Sliding Fee Scale program which helps cap the cost of dental treatments based on your household income. We believe that every patient, regardless of their race, gender, or creed should have access to quality oral healthcare services.

Dr. Dylan Roberts

Our Team

Our dentist, Dr. Dylan Roberts. Dr. Roberts, originally from Winnsboro, graduated from Franklin Parish High School in 2015. He received his Bachelors in Science from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans.

Dr. Roberts is dedicated to serving rural Louisiana and has returned home to serve as our general dentist. At Island Dental, he will be able to provide a variety of services including fillings, dentures, crowns, and so much more. Outside of the office, Dr. Roberts enjoys cooking for friends and family, binge-watching Survivor with his mother, visiting places on his travel bucket list, fishing with his father in Turkey Creek, and watching every movie that crosses his path. Dr. Roberts currently resides in Crowville with his greatest source of happiness: wife, Megan, daughter, Georgia Kate, and son, Ford.

Dental Assistant

Macy has been a certified dental assistant since 2019. Her favorite thing about being a dental assistant is connecting with patients and making them feel more confident about their smile. She is from Wisner, LA where her and her husband, Anthony, and their son, Breylin, live.

Alicia Ford

Dental Assistant

Alicia has been a dental assistant for over 20 years! She is a certified expanded duty dental assistant, which allows her to perform a variety of additional tasks in the dental office. Alicia enjoys getting to know each patient & providing a personal touch for each patient’s encounter. She says that she “values working as a team to provide the highest level of care possible.”

Kirsten Riley

Dental Assistant

Kirsten is one of our dental assistants. She earned her dental assistant certification through the Louisiana Dental Institute in Monroe. Kirsten says “I feel very fortunate to be able to work alongside Dr. Dylan Roberts and this amazing team. My priority is to help provide the best patient care.”

Tylin Powell

Dental Receptionist

Patti is our wonderful dental hygienist. She graduated from Wisner High School and then received her Dental Hygiene degree in 2004 from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. She has over 19 years of experience in the dental field and brings with her a great amount of knowledge. She holds a certification to administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide.

Patti says, "My favorite part about being a Dental Hygienist is having the ability to help others, while gaining relationships with my patients. I love improving their self-confidence, helping them overcome their dental anxiety and being a small part of their reason to smile.”

Kim Dunbar

Office Manager

Kim is our Office Manager and she has been with CPHD2 since 2004. Kim is a pivotal force at Island Dental and oversees all employees and patient care services including payments, insurance coverage, and our sliding fee scale. Her daily duties are too many to list, but she does them all with an infectious positive attitude.
